HSP School Scheduler

School Scheduler is a program for managing announcements and scheduled "bells" in a school. (or other building) It assumes that the PA system can be acessed by dialing a code number on the phone, so it uses a voice modem to interface to the PA system.

I wrote this at about the same time as Spelling Activities so don't expect too much. (Check out my more recent work, like PicoGUI and WebQcat) It was originally a commercial application, however it is now free. I simply do not have enough time to maintain, advertise, or sell it anymore, and I think it would be of much more use here than collecting dust on my hard disk.

I finished this version in 1998, before I had been enlightened by Linux and open source. Consequently, it only runs on Windows. However, now with its new home at SourceForge I can make all the source code available under the GPL. See the SourceForge page for the source code. (It's messy, requiring lots of strange tools to compile. If you really want to compile it, email me) If all you want is the binary distribution, use the link below:

Download:
School Scheduler 1.0 [1,160,923 bytes, zip file]

To install, unzip it into a directory on your hard drive. To make School Scheduler start up each time the computer boots, you can put a link to the application file (.exe) in your Startup menu. Make sure you have working voice modem drivers.
